We are looking for SIA Door Supervisors to work at events in Derby and across the Midlands. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work at a multitude of events such as sporting events, concerts, and festivals, including Leicester City FC, Derby County FC, Chelsea FC, Silverstone Race Circuit, Everton FC, Wigan Warriors, Wigan Athletic, Burnley FC, Manchester United FC, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Transport to other events around the country may occasionally be available when needed.

Responsibilities include:
1. Welcoming all visitors to the venue
2. Searching bags and persons before entering the venue
3. Placing tags on bags once checked
4. Sweeping and clearing persons from closed areas
5. Assisting with evacuation procedures
6. Ejecting fans from the venue/event
7. Providing security related comms to members of public
8. Preventing fans from taking alcohol pitch side
9. Preventing fans from smoking or vaping
10. Preventing fans from standing on non-safe standing areas
11. Access control to VIP/ Player or Hospitality areas
12. Dealing with any queries and offering additional information regarding the event
13. Checking access passes (where applicable)
14. Helping to direct flow of foot traffic
15. Offering an excellent level of customer service to ensure the smooth running of the event
16. Being the eyes and ears of the event and ensuring the safety team have the information they require
17. Supporting other positions where necessary including stewarding, Traffic and Car Park teams.
Required skills, qualifications, and experience:
1. SIA Door Supervisor badge
2. Good level of verbal and written English
3. The ability to react calmly in high pressured situations
Hours of work:
Shift times will vary on each event, early and late shifts will be available. All work is offered on a casual basis giving you flexibility to work around your current commitments.
Rate of pay:
The hourly rate will be £12.50ph.
