Core Banking (Global) is responsible for the development and maintenance of HSBC Core Banking platforms globally. This role sits within Core Banking (UK), specifically the Retail Processing System (RPS), the Core Banking platform of HSBC UK.
Technology Programme Management Office (TPMO) jobs work on projects of a variety of sizes, which are single or multiple work streams, have country or global dimensions, and are of both narrow and broad scope. The principal accountability of the PMO job is to manage the Technology Programme Management Office in carrying out project monitoring, governance, and reporting activities.
In this role you will:
1. Risk and issue monitoring, co-ordination, and escalation
2. Planning and overseeing project and programme level reporting
3. Management and monitoring of project governance arrangements
4. Support the monitoring, reporting, and management of budgets, expenditure, and workforce
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
1. Experience managing large scale Technology transformation programmes with defined governance reporting structures.
2. Proficient user of Excel, Jira, and Confluence
3. Functional support and a strong trusting relationship across multiple Business and Technology stakeholders.
4. Experience working in a cross-function environment
5. Previous experience working on a Tech Simplification Programme
This role is based in Sheffield and offers hybrid working.
