What you'll be doing
As a Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the financial management of projects from inception and tendering to negotiating and agreeing contracts. You will also be responsible for delivering the commercial projects.
As an integral part of the project delivery team, you will hold key responsibilities associated with leading the commercial and financial success of the project.
Typically, you will have a track record of managing and developing a commercial team and be a Chartered Member of the RICS, ICES or CIOB whilst being a mentor /role model to other commercial staff on their journey to becoming professionally qualified. You also will maintain your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the commercial and financial delivery of projects.
* Oversee tender submissions, contract negotiation, and financial reporting.
* Manage commercial risk and opportunities.
* Ensure effective procurement and supply chain management.
* Mentor and develop junior commercial staff.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in Major Structures Building and / or NEC
Who we're looking for
* A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards).
* Strong experience in commercial and contract management.
* A proven track record in managing commercial teams and delivering projects
The following qualifications are essential:
* CSCS Card (Professional Qualified Person)
