HR Business Partner (Part-Time) Weymouth
Are you a Human Resources professional with a passion for employment law, recruitment, conflict resolution and an ability to train and advise stakeholders in a small but very friendly HR team?
Working 20 hours a week, this could be 10am to 2.00pm over fewer days a week, or 9.30am to 2.30pm for 4 days a week.
This will be a Generalist HR role, supporting 60-70 people where ER knowledge and CIPD Level 7 is essential.
You will be involved in:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with the overall people and business strategy, goals and objectives.
2. Identify and foster positive employee relations support, by early recognition of business demands, helping to promote a positive work culture that maximises employee commitment and engagement whilst minimising employee disputes.
3. Establish and maintain a recruitment and selection process that recognises where EDI improvements can be made, utilising talent management systems to provide a recognised talent pipeline (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS) to meet future resource requirement needs.
4. Keep abreast of developing strategies that can support the HR function and business in delivering a skilled and efficient workforce to meet current and future demands through utilising HR data analytics that highlight areas for continuous improvement.
5. Nurture a positive and friendly working environment to minimise retention issues and build a company brand that is seen as a destination to work.
6. Lead and support business transformation programmes that impact our employees through effective communication that recognises the cultural and process adjustments required within the organisation to realise the benefits these changes can bring.
7. Develop, oversee and manage the performance appraisal system to support personal development, salary, and incentives to promote high performance.
8. Oversee and support the Company remuneration and benefits programme.
9. Support the continuous development of our employees through the employee lifecycle to provide current and cutting-edge skills that are recognised by our people, competitors, and customers as essential to the work we do, either through the promotion of ad hoc individual skills programmes or formulated apprenticeships, graduate and STEM programmes.
10. Assess training needs through recognised skills frameworks and develop employee plans to meet these needs, aligning this development with professionally recognised competencies and accreditations.
11. Report HR metrics to business leaders and support the Head of HR in developing a Company people plan and roadmap to meet the People Strategy goals.
12. Ensure and maintain HR & HS legal compliance throughout the business through maintaining professional and legal knowledge, utilising external support organisations and networks.
13. Train, mentor and develop other HR team members to fulfil their role and develop their career opportunities within the business.
