Job Title : Pharmacist Location : Southend-On-Sea, Essex Banding: Band 7 Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months with the option to extend Rate : £ 39 per hour Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37,5 hours per week We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join our client's team in Southend. This role involves providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The successful candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes and contribute to the overall efficiency of our pharmacy services. What will your responsibilities be : In this role, the Band 7 Pharmacist will be responsible for managing and dispensing medications, conducting medication reviews, and providing expert advice on pharmaceutical matters. The pharmacist will also be involved in developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Collaboration with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care and support to patients is a key aspect of this position.The pharmacist will play a crucial role in the Urgent & Emergency Care Pathway, ensuring timely access to medications and providing pharmaceutical support in urgent and emergency situations. Responsibilities include assessing medication needs during emergencies, advising on drug interactions and contraindications, and working with the emergency care team to develop and implement rapid treatment plans. Qualifications and Experiences: Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in pharmacy practice How to apply?
