Job Description
As a DC HR Manager you will manage the team to create conditions for people which will enable them to achieve short-term and long-term business goals, manage, guide and lead DC HR team on local HR matters to ensure a quality employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage the people strategy for the DC. Manage the team to create conditions for people which will enable the people to achieve short-term and long-term business goals.
2. Manage, guide and lead DC HR team on local HR matters to ensure a quality employee lifecycle.
3. Manage the DC HR budget in line with regional budget framework
4. Responsible for Employee relations in the DC and to ensure all people-related matters are carried out accord. to local labor law and regulations
5. Assess DC workforce needs and set targets for recruitment and mobility together with operations and controlling.
6. Be the voice of the people in the organization, promoting I &D, the H&M Group values & culture
7. Ensure employee safety, well-being, and commitment to H&M group’s approach to Human Rights
8. Support and implement local change initiatives ( organization changes, expansion projects, closures, vendor mgmt., WMS changes)
9. Raise local needs to regional and global level to enable the design and development of globally oriented, but locally requested solutions
10. Actively participate in global program roll outs
11. Set and secure plan for recruitment, succession and talent development for your team
Qualifications
What do you need to succeed:
12. Strong in communicating and adapting method based on circumstance
13. Profound knowledge in HR core activities ( training, onboarding, recruitment) as well as DC operations
14. Solid functional understanding of role requirements within DC across functions & interdependencies with the reg. / global org
15. Solid understanding of local labor law and regulations as well as group’s values and culture
16. Strong skills in coordination, conflict resolution, disciplinary concepts and workplace investigations
17. Empathetic and understanding to human behaviours and drivers
18. Holistic view for the bigger perspective with a visionary approach
19. Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others
20. Agile mindset, positive attitude to change & meaningful growth
21. Inclusive and empathetic towards others, encouraging diversity
22. Self awareness, understanding your impact on others and contribution to the whole group
Good to have:
23. Applicants must have at least 5 years of leadership experience, ideally in the logistics industry, at companies with a comparable number of employees or equivalent.
