We are working exclusively with our client, a well-established business with a rich history and a forward-thinking approach to operations. They’re seeking a Planning & Procurement Specialist to enhance their production efficiency and support a new ERP system implementation.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to step into a newly created position that combines production planning, materials scheduling, and procurement responsibilities. You’ll play a pivotal role in managing a complex supply chain while supporting and mentoring team members to ensure long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage production plans for a high SKU volume (350+ variations).
Forecast customer needs and ensure timely procurement of raw materials and packaging components.
Lead the integration of a new ERP system (Business Central) and take ownership of production data management.
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to meet diverse and evolving needs.
Train and upskill planning team members, sharing your expertise to enhance the team’s capabilities.
The ideal candidate will bring:
Proven experience in production planning, forecasting, and procurement.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Business Central.
The ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and communicate them effectively.
A flexible and adaptable approach to meet shifting priorities and customer demands.
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to mentor and develop colleagues.

Salary: £37,500 (with potential flexibility for outstanding candidates).
