Resident Engagement Officer
Base office location may vary dependent upon suitable candidate - balance of home and office working
£21,901 - £23,054 per year plus company car
22.5 hours per week - 9am to 5pm over 3 days - Mon/Tues/Thurs

That’s what we’re looking for in a Resident Engagement Officer to join our small and very committed team. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and critical thinking are more important than where you are based or whether you have previous experience in housing.
In this national role you will work with residents and colleagues at all levels. Your ability to influence is crucial in helping us drive improvement in our Housing and Supported Living services based upon residents’ views and experiences.
The role of Resident Engagement Officer will include:
* Collaborating with customers and colleagues, from the front-line to strategic Directors, to ensure customer feedback drives service improvement
* Developing and delivering training for colleagues to make sure our approach to resident engagement is successful
* Delivering high quality customer service to our engaged residents

To be successful as one of our resident engagement officers you will need to be a self-starter with a
* Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification in housing or social policy
* Proven experience in stakeholder participation, consultation methods and customer insight techniques
* Proven experience coordinating and managing a range of meetings and events
* Proven experience of managing projects, producing and analysing quality statistical information
* Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
* This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving license

Role Salary is dependent on location as below:
* The full time equivalent salary for this role National - £36,502 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £38,423 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
* The full time equivalent salary for this role South East - £38,327 per annum (rising to £40,344 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
* The full time equivalent salary for this role London - £40,152 per annum (rising to £42,266 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
