To support the growth of the team, we have an exciting opportunity at Aston Martin Formula 1 Team as a Stores Person within our Stores department.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Goods receipting from outside suppliers
2. Progressing parts to the relevant inspection department
3. Receipting and reporting shop order parts from the Machine Shop
4. Receipting and reporting Shop Order parts for the tooling block, Rohacell and ADM deliveries
5. Liaising with the Laminating and Trim Departments with ETA’s
6. Collect completed parts from the Inspection Department, executing a move into stock transaction and labelling and locating accordingly
7. Labelling all completed parts and locating into central stores stock
8. Picking parts for Shop Orders and delivering to the relevant departments
9. Preparing kits and parts for collection by suppliers
10. Front counter service for internal departments
11. Run daily stock check reports
12. Consumable issuing, checking and order requisition placing
13. To attend and proactively participate in meetings as required
14. To work proactively, responsibly and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure
15. To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge
16. Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role
Skills & Knowledge Required
1. Possess Stores experience within a Manufacturing environment
2. Possess an excellent working knowledge of parts handling, Stores procedures and processes
3. To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues
4. Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
5. Ability to self-manage and motivate
6. To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
7. Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety
8. Ability to work and prioritise within a high pressure environment
9. Methodical approach is essential
10. A willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends
