Salary: £35,000 + benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, operating between 08:00 - 16:30

Role Overview:
The Warehouse Manager will oversee warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven experience in warehouse management, process optimisation, and freight coordination, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and maintaining high safety standards.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Oversee stock control, storage, and distribution processes to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Ensure effective space utilisation and maintain an organised warehouse layout to optimise workflow, including managing racking systems and implementing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) processes, where applicable.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, including conducting regular audits, ensuring a secure work environment, and updating procedures based on industry standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods in and out of the facility, optimising transportation and freight processes.
• Work closely with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to streamline logistics and improve supply chain performance.
• Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing training to enhance productivity.
• Implement and monitor key warehouse performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfilment rate, inventory turnover, and on-time deliveries to ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping, storage, and regulatory standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations.
• Generate regular reports on stock levels, logistics performance, and operational improvements, identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications and skills:
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar logistics role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and freight management.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software (specific software knowledge, if applicable).
• Excellent leadership, team management, and staff development skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to implement effective solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• A degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
