Key Responsibilities As a Maths Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated lessons in Mathematics for students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Foster a love for Maths and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development. Create an inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of all students. Contribute to curriculum development within the Maths department, sharing ideas and resources to enhance teaching and learning. Maintain high expectations for behavior, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's commitment to inclusive education. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required. Expectations The ideal candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum at KS3 and KS4. Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to raising achievement for all students. Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to make Maths accessible and engaging for all learners.
