We are pleased to be working with an innovative and rapidly growing business who have a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join an expanding, warm and welcoming company based in Hemel Hempstead.
As a PA you will be responsible for working closely with the company's CIO. You will play a key part in the CIO's life mainly in their professional life but also assisting with their personal life too. As part of the role, you will find yourself coordinating day-to-day operations on behalf of the CIO, managing complex schedules and ensuring everything is running smoothly.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, someone who is able to adapt and respond within a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will be able to work alongside the CIO but also not be afraid to push back/hold them accountable. Candidates with previous experience within a PA role is essential for this!
This is a permanent role paying between £35,000 to £45,000, working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, this position also offers the opportunity of hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days from home).
Duties to include:
1. Proactively prioritise tasks, ensuring that urgent and strategic initiatives are delivered and completed.
2. Extensive diary management including arranging meetings, appointments, webinars and conference calls with precision and accuracy.
3. Prepare for meetings by drafting agendas, gathering necessary materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
4. Liaise with internal teams and external partners on behalf of the CIO, acting as the main point of contact to ensure clear communication and alignment.
5. Manage professional correspondence on behalf of the CIO, including email screening, drafting responses, and ensuring timely follow-up on key communications.
6. Support CIO with key business projects by helping to track progress, conduct research, compile reports, and manage deadlines.
7. Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and other documentation for internal and external meetings, ensuring that all materials are polished and ready in advance.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing more efficient systems where appropriate to support operational excellence.
9. Organise and manage personal calendar, including appointments, family events, and personal commitments, ensuring smooth coordination between professional and personal life.
10. Organise both business and personal travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and itinerary management.
11. Assist with personal errands, including shopping, personal appointments, managing family logistics, and any other personal tasks as needed.
12. Assist with planning and organising personal events, celebrations, or family gatherings, ensuring that logistics are handled seamlessly.
Candidate requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting senior executives, ideally with a mix of professional and personal support responsibilities.
2. Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous manner.
4. Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
5. Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
6. Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with digital tools for managing tasks, calendars, and communications.
7. Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
