What the Transport and Logistics Manager job involves Overseeing all transport and logistics operations to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods Working closely with customers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to deliver a seamless service Monitoring compliance with UK transport legislation, health & safety regulations, and environmental standards Keeping accurate and up-to-date records including delivery documents, fleet logs, and operational KPIs Leading, developing, and supporting a small but dedicated transport and logistics team of 6. Identifying areas for continuous improvement and cost reduction Assisting with budget planning and managing logistics-related expenditure Using logistics software and systems to manage the day-to-day operation effectively Skills Required To succeed in this role, youll need to bring a combination of operational know-how, team leadership, and a strategic mindset.
