The business is now looking for a Senior Laboratory Technician to join their Research & Development team in Greater Manchester. This role will involve designing and conducting compounding and polymer testing through the use of lab equipment such as extruders and injection moulding.

Role Description
1. Design and execute polymer tests, manage application projects, and analyse data.
2. Operate lab equipment such as extruders, moulders, mixers.
3. Perform physical tests: viscosity, colour, rheology, mechanical.
4. Troubleshoot, maintain lab instruments.
5. Ensure raw material availability and manage sample dispatch from the lab.
6. Collaborate with internal/external production sites and support cross-functional projects.
Requirements
1. A degree in Chemistry (or similar) - both master's and bachelor's degrees accepted.
2. Experience working in Polymer industry/related.
3. Strong attention to detail.
