They are seeking a dedicated Educational Health & Care Plan Coordinator to join their Additional Learning Support Team, ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and supporting learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). About the Role: As an EHCP Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the processes and procedures for learners with EHCPs. Reporting directly to the Head of Additional Learning and High Needs Support, you will ensure compliance with SEND regulations and act as a key contact for learners, staff, and external stakeholders. This is a full-time temporary position until April 2025, based on-site in Rotherham. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and provide updates on legislative changes. Chair and prepare EHCP reviews and reports while representing the organisation at meetings. Monitor and track the performance and progression of EHCP learners. Collaborate with academic and support staff to ensure EHCP plans are fully implemented. Support with communication between departments and maintain accurate records. Work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends for open events. Provide safeguarding and first aid support where required. About You: The ideal candidate will have: Extensive experience in SEND support and working with EHCP processes. Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and educational safeguarding policies. Experience supporting learners with diverse needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges. Exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A minimum Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy. Experience working collaboratively with external agencies and local authorities. Why Apply?
