Job summary We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic Senior Family & Systemic Psychotherapist to join our Healthcare Service at Oasis Restore Secure School (ORSS). ORSS is the first Secure School in the UK and will hold 12-18 year old children. The SeniorFamily & Systemic Psychotherapist role provides a comprehensive, highly specialist, trauma-informed therapeutic service to children and their families at Oasis Restore Secure School, including specialist systemic assessment and therapy as well as advice and consultation to the wider health team and residential/education team within the school. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Transitions/Families, Restore Networkers and other partner agencies in developing and implementing the Family Strategy for the secure school. Main duties of the job The Senior Family & Systemic Psychotherapist is expected to deliver, and lead on, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care of children and families, considering the developmental needs of the children, and ensuring consideration of the impact of their experiences on their current strengths, needs and difficulties. Developing good therapeutic relationships with the children and their families, is key for this post and in the wider service delivery.
