We have a fantastic opportunity for two full-time Occupational Therapists to join our team. Key responsibilities will include: Providing a therapist service for clients who are ready to leave hospital. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including Social Workers to review clients’ therapy pathways, goals and discharge plans. Supporting care staff within the Reablement Hub, and other Tricuro services to provide personalised care around the client’s therapy goals. Providing expert advice to Tricuro’s services including complex moving and handling, provision of advice and guidance about equipment, minor adaptations and targeted assistance. Evaluating risks and working with clients, their families/carers and others involved in their care to manage risk. Essential skills required: Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy (Diploma or Degree). Registered with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist. Experience of working with adults. Experience of multi-professional working. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Competent and up to date ICT skills. Knowledge and understanding of Health and Social Care legislation. Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the safeguarding of adults. Valid UK driving licence and use of own vehicle. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Full-time - 37 hours per week.
