A great opportunity has arisen for a CMM Inspector to join a leading manufacturing company who supply world-class products to various industries including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Renewable.
Job Description:
* Performing final & inter-stage dimensional inspections and supporting the requirements for documenting and maintaining records associated with these activities.
* Review and verify route cards, process instructions, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures to determine dimensions and tolerances of components.
* Liaise with client inspectors as and when required. Perform intermediate and final dimensional inspections including documenting and maintaining records associated with inspection.
* Verification of process instructions, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures.
* Inspection of parts to include the production and control of documents for materials processes and parts.
* Assist in the development and control of necessary documentation, analyze & report on materials, processes, and products.
* Calibration and recording of measuring equipment.
* Liaise with other departments to maximize output.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
* Basic Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 & AS9100 requirements.
* Competent user of measuring equipment, e.g., Verniers, Micrometers, CMM's, and vision systems.
* Basic Knowledge of all relevant British standards.
* Substantial experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings and associated engineering documentation.
* Computer Literate.
* Excellent Communication and Organisational Skills.
* Able to work of your own initiative.
* Flexible attitude to work.
Additional Details:
* Salary subject to experience.
* Shift pattern 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 12am, which rotates on a weekly basis. (5 days, 4 days)
