We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Fire Risk Management Consultant to join our growing Fire team in our North office.
The Team – Our Fire Safety Division
Our Fire Safety team has earned a reputation for delivering technically excellent work and responsiveness. Our large team has resulted in exceptional growth and success.
Our Fire Safety Division is represented in all regional capitals within England, Wales, and Scotland, with offices in Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, Plymouth, and Stoke-on-Trent.
From concept to construction, our fire engineering expertise helps optimize design and ensure compliance. We work on public sector, residential, commercial, industrial, and high hazard projects, providing services from site appraisal to planning, design, and delivery.
The workload is diverse, with many high-profile regional and national clients.
The Role:
This role offers the chance to join our Fire Risk Management team in the North, working collaboratively and providing opportunities for career development.
You will be home-based with travel to sites across your region and occasional visits to the office. Some overnight stays may be required for projects or training.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of fire safety consulting experience.
* Level 4 qualification in fire safety or relevant field.
* Membership of recognized professional bodies such as the Institution of Fire Engineers.
* Passion for fire risk management focusing on safety and end-user experience.
* Graduate level membership with the Institute of Fire Engineers, aiming for Member status (MIFireE).
* Registered or working towards registration with the Engineering Council.
* Proven experience in Fire Risk Assessments across various buildings and environments.
* Understanding of building construction and fire safety standards.
* Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
* Experience with external wall surveys and fire safety codes such as BS 9991, BS 9999, and others.
* Strong project management skills for fire risk assessment contracts.
* Business development awareness and stakeholder engagement skills.
