Salary: Essex Scale 2 Point 3 - 4
£12,526.51 - £12,723.06 actual salary per annum
Plus £368.07 outer fringe allowance per annum
22 hours and 30 minutes per week
Monday – Friday 10:00am – 2:30pm
39 Weeks of the year – term time plus inset
Start Date: January 2025
At Brentwood County High School, we are dedicated to provide nutritious and delicious meals to our students. Our friendly and dynamic catering team plays a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for the school community. We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join us as a Catering Assistant.
As a Catering Assistant, you will be an integral part of our catering team, working under the guidance of our experienced Cook. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals.
* Helping with the delivery and serving of food to students and staff.
* Ensuring all areas are kept clean and hygienic.
* Clearing away food and cleaning up after service.
* Supporting the Cook and other catering staff in day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
* No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
* A motivated and hardworking attitude.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
