Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting an Accountant on a permanent basis with a growing organisation based in Chippenham. This role would suit an ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant with previous experience of financial and management reporting.
The role
The Accountant will work closely with the Head Of Finance, taking responsibility for a division of the business and reporting on all financial matters for that division. This role would suit someone stepping up into the role or someone who has operated at a Finance Manager/Financial Controller level who is looking to develop the role, division, team and systems/processes. The business is going through an exciting period of growth and change posing opportunities to develop this role and team. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Financial reporting and maintaining accounting controls including IFRS 16.
2. Ownership of monthly accounts production including reconciliations.
3. Business partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders including the Head of Finance, Treasury, internal sales managers and external auditors.
4. Financial analysis and reporting with commentary.
5. Budgeting and forecasting.
6. Work with the management accountant to calculate the deferred tax liability and produce the annual tax packs for the external auditors.
7. Monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
Profile
This role would suit an ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with broad experience encompassing both financial and management accounting. Key skills attributes will include:
8. Strong business partnering capabilities.
9. Knowledge of leasing/IFRS 16 would be advantageous.
10. CIMA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years PQE.
11. Forward thinking with a solutions orientated mindset.
Package:
12. £60,000 - £70,000 base salary.
13. Bonus scheme (to be determined).
14. Hybrid working with up to 2 days from home.
15. Matched pension contribution.
16. 26 days leave + bank holidays.
