Location: Reading (RG1 – hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 – £39,000 per annum (+ discretionary bonus)
Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 (Monday – Friday)

The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with an award-winning communications business who are leaders within the built sector. They are looking to recruit a confident, value-driven and communicative Account Manager to join their Reading based team and work closely with clients on exciting projects.
As an Account Manager, your primary role will be providing the link between clients and wider stakeholders including local community groups, councils and politicians. Day-to-day, this role will include offering advice to clients, working closely with internal PR teams to sign off press releases, brochures, and presentations, pulling together reports, and closely monitoring and managing budgets.
The successful Account Manager will work closely with community groups, local councils and politicians to ensure the seamless delivery of local developments, whist considering all stakeholders.
Your role will include holding focus groups and Q&A sessions, attending community and council meetings, and managing the relationships with politicians and councillors to build trust and alignment between all stakeholders.
The role of Account Manager would be really well suited to a candidate with professional experience in the built environment and the confidence to successfully manage relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Requirements
* Excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to build really strong relationships
* Previous experience of excelling in a similar role with clients within the built environment
* Strong attention to detail with the confidence to balance multiple projects and wear many hats
* Due to the nature of the role, a full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle is essential
