Salary: Basic salary between £35K to £40K pa
Work Schedule: 4.5-Day Week/Half-Day Friday’s
Location: Near Beeston, Leeds, West Yorkshire – Office-Based
Type: Full-Time/Permanent

The Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and refining bespoke machinery solutions. Your expertise in 3D CAD and technical problem-solving will ensure the production of high-quality, precision-engineered systems.
1. Design & Develop bespoke machinery, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
2. Create detailed 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications.
3. Ensure precision and compliance with GD&T standards.
4. Conduct FEA and calculations to validate design performance.
5. Support manufacturing & assembly teams with technical expertise.
6. Contribute to new product development and innovation.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, ideally within special-purpose machinery or related fields.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar).
* Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to tackle complex engineering challenges.
* Excellent communication & teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
* Adaptability & a proactive mindset to excel in a dynamic work environment.
