Position: Automation Manager EMEA We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Automation Manager EMEA to join our newly established European Engineering Hub. In this role, you will be a key player in managing a team of automation and control engineers across the UK and Europe. As a vital member of the global engineering leadership team, you will lead the automation team and drive the automation strategy for the EMEA region. This position is crucial for advancing our automation journey and delivering exceptional automation services. About You Experienced Leader: You have a background in Control Engineering within manufacturing sectors such as Chemical, Oil & Gas, Pharma, or FMCG. Project Management: You will oversee automation resources to ensure all planned and preventative projects meet standards for safety, cost, and quality. Business Acumen: With strong budget management skills, you excel in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. Innovative Thinker: You possess a visionary and strategic outlook, continuously seeking ways to enhance project delivery through improvement, team development, and process evaluation. This role requires occasional travel across the EMEA region. What You'll Bring A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Control Engineering. Proven experience leading a control-focused engineering department. Expertise in control philosophy for modern process plants and a strong understanding of production manufacturing processes and instrumentation. Knowledge of Control System Engineering Standards and Regulations. Familiarity with Chemical Industry Best Practices for control systems is a plus. Understanding of occupational safety legislation and best practices.
