Join a dynamic team as our Production Manager at our Nocton site, where you’ll lead and inspire a team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across production and delivery. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Way: Take charge of the day-to-day operations, ensuring the team meets site KPIs, targets, and budget goals.
* Team Development: Lead and motivate a dedicated team, fostering a culture of improvement, performance, and excellence.
* Collaborative Leadership: Work alongside other departments like procurement and transport to ensure space is utilised effectively and processes run efficiently.
* Health & Safety First: Be the point of contact for health and safety, ensuring the site adheres to all required regulations.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive site performance improvements, identify areas for growth, and implement effective changes in partnership with senior production staff and engineering teams.
* Reporting & Analysis: Monitor machinery performance, track key metrics, and create insightful reports on traceability, rejections, and KPIs.
* Training & Development: Support the training and development of team members, ensuring they meet compliance and are continuously improving their skills.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Production Management Experience: Minimum 2+ years within the FMCG sector is essential.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent communication skills.
* Self-Starter & Team Player: Able to work independently while also collaborating seamlessly within a team.
* Counterbalance License: Desirable but not essential.
