The post would include communicating and working with outside professionals, SENCO and room leader therefore good communication skills is needed.
This Nursery in Hertford are looking for one to one support for a child who attends the preschool room and although this is a temporary position until September 2024 as the child will be starting school; there is an opportunity for full time or part time roles at the setting.
Salary: £11.44 to £11.66 per hour for Level 2/3 practitioners
Hours of work: 9.00am until 3.00pm - Part time 18 hours per week Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
The Nursery are looking for:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, colleagues, outside professionals, Nursery Manager & Nursery Senco
2. Knowledge of child development principles and practices
3. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs
5. Strong organisational skills to plan activities and manage time effectively
6. Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
7. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and situations in the nursery
