Machinery orders are strong, the company is well-established, now the growth has meant it's the right time to add an Electrical Design Engineering Manager to the structure.
You will be:
* Leading an Electrical Design Engineering team working on special purpose machinery and machinery projects.
* Mentoring, developing, supervising the work of the electrical design engineers, and scheduling this work so that the department meets its project deadlines
* Knitting your department together with the Control Software Engineers doing the PLC control software design for each project, the Mechanical Design Engineers working on that aspect-- getting everyone working together - problem solving for customers and colleagues
* Occasionally doing your own hands-on Electrical Design Engineering -- control panels, PLC hardware, safety circuitry for the machinery, certifying control panels for the projects.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £60000-£62000, good benefits, workload that offers a lot of variety and talking points, keeping the days interesting, skills developing.
If you have a background in Electrical Design Engineering- maybe as a Lead Engineer, a Project Manager or have led and mentored other Engineers or Designers in project team, and you'd like to work for a growing, well-backed Company with a wide range of projects and customers, then I'd like to hear from you.
