The Job Summary:
Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. We are recruiting for a Project Manager to manage and facilitate industrialisation of NPD projects, from concept to commercialisation, that supports the strategic goals of the company.
The Role:
* Manage all aspects of the product development process.
* Partner with the Engineering Management team to ensure objectives are achieved and produce detailed weekly NPD metric reports for the Senior Leadership team.
* Ensure customer specifications are managed in line with budget expectations and co-ordinate solutions to both technical and commercial challenges.
* Manage projects in line with company objectives and assist Sales Administration with required tender /quotation preparation.
* Manage solutions to in service product failures with the aftermarket team, to the satisfaction of the customer and assist the various departments in pre-customer, sign off / acceptance.
* Ensure process change control procedures are adhered to and communicated and conduct post review of project at closure for improvement points and closed loop feedback.
* Manage daily running of the development department alongside Project Managers.
* Manage team, including recruitment (as appropriate), training and evaluation of training, discipline, motivation, and recognition. Lead existing team members ensuring that each have a clear view of their roles and responsibilities, which will be in-line with corporate objectives.
* Manage daily meetings and ensure open communication is encouraged throughout the projects.
The Requirements:
* HND in Engineering (or equivalent).
* Diploma in Manufacturing / engineering.
* Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years working experience as a project manager.
* Experience in resource planning.
* Demonstratable experience in budget preparation and control.
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in preparing timelines, managing, and reporting on projects utilising MS Project / Excel.
