About the role We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious SENCO, who is passionate about getting the best outcomes for all the children, regardless of ability and need. The SENCO is a central role at St Mary’s School who will advise and support staff to ensure that, through Quality First Teaching, pupils will maximise their potential. The SENCO, with the support of the Headteacher and Governing Body, is responsible for inspiring and motivating the whole school community to develop effective ways of overcoming barriers to learning and promoting effective teaching and learning for children with specific needs and those eligible for pupil premium funding.
