As People Administrator, you’ll be a key member of our team in helping to create a positive employee experience for our colleagues. In this operational role, you will support across a wide range of People activities and projects, underpinning this will be People Systems Administration.
We are a busy team with several exciting projects on the go. Our team works on everything from pay and reward, talent management and employee experience to resourcing and people analytics so you will gain exposure to several people activities to help your development as a People professional.
The role requires someone who is detailed-orientated, committed to delivering high quality work, and enjoys working with information and data. This is a great opportunity for an established People Administrator who is seeking a role that offers variety, impact, and the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary People Team.
Key Responsibilities
This operational role will focus on four key areas.
People Systems Administration
* Collaborating with the People team and internal stakeholders to determine HRIS needs.
* Developing and implementing new processes and systems for efficient People management practices.
* Analysing performance of our HRIS and resolving application issues.
* Creating user accounts, managing access levels, and updating and maintaining employee information.
* Provide new joiner training and technical support.
* Maintaining and analysing data, ensuring data integrity and running queries.
* Conduct regular audits of People processes, documentation and data.
People Administration
* Oversee the processes and all related administrative work relating to joiners, movers and leavers.
* Administer the annual cycle of people activity including performance and goal setting, employee surveys and reward and benefit activity, monitoring completion.
* Assist with new colleague orientations (pre-boarding and onboarding activities).
* Produce monthly payroll reports ensuring that all changes within the month are accurately captured and provided to the payroll team in a timely manner.
* Ensure that cyclical checks are monitored and undertaken on time including DBS and Fit and Proper checks.
* Support changes to improve our hiring, onboarding, and induction processes.
* Management of central inboxes ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner.
People Support and Advisory
* Provide policy advice and support to managers about onboarding, probation, flexible working requests, family friendly leave and absence queries, escalating matters where required.
Talent and Recruitment Administration
* Carry out a range of administration tasks to support our hiring process which include posting adverts, screening and shortlisting applicants, coordinating interviews, sending assessments and maintaining the Applicant Tracking System.
* Produce talent and recruitment reports.

* Ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures

* Workload is managed efficiently in line with KPIs and SLAs
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Previous HR and recruitment administration experience (preferably 2 years+)
* Experience of supporting and administering a variety of people activity
* Good understanding of HR practices and an awareness of UK employment law
* Benefits administration would be desirable
* Demonstrable experience of using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (BambooHR and PinPoint experience would be advantageous)
* Tech savvy with advanced word and excel skills
