Job Summary:
Reporting to the CCO, the job holder will effectively lead and implement the Groups marketing activity and brand awareness including the overall outreach strategy in line with the organisational goals and objectives. The job holder duties will include market research and analysis, brand development and the planning, development and execution of all marketing and PR campaigns and activities. The role will be instrumental in developing and increasing sales revenue by providing assets to support the commercial activity and output.
Main Duties:
* Develop and implement the marketing and brand strategies for Visions Group, including Visions, Fisher Productions and Dobson brands
* Contribute to corporate Strategy by advising on the development of the corporate brand and positioning
* Introduce, manage and analyse key marketing performance metrics and provide market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results and event sector trends
* Manage external collateral, always ensuring brand integrity, working with the CCO and commercial team to provide branded decks and assets, to support the sales efforts.
* To build a library of hero shots from key Group Events. To look at a mechanism of how to collate the images.
* Manage external communications, always ensuring brand integrity
* Ensure best use of social media, devising and implementing content and activity to drive customer engagement and awareness, where possible driving traffic back to websites plus analysis and reporting
* Manage website content and development including all images, creative and copy updates
* Develop and maintain external CRM database to encourage client interaction and engagement through email marketing. Design, compile and implement all email campaigns and provide analysis and reporting
* Manage PR across the group to drive awareness of Visions activity, establishing contacts at key media press, creating stories, compiling press releases, together with follow up to ensure optimal coverage
* Manage the marketing budget ensuring effective ROI on all activity – financial or reputation
* Liaise with HR and the Exec team to implement internal communications to staff and freelancers
* Oversee promotional showcases, agreeing budget, managing guest lists, branding, collateral and PR plus subsequent marketing to guests post event
Job Holder Requirements:
Experience
* Strong track record in a hands-on mid-level marketing role within the event industry
* Knowledge and experience of the Live event industry
* Brand Management experience preferred
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic, team player
* Dynamic and creative, with a notable ‘hands on’ approach
* Technical marketing skills, including content writing and creation, customer relationship management (CRM), social media marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), public relations, email marketing, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and automation.
* Strong analytical skills – able to analyse and review marketing metrics and trends to identify opportunities and threats
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Communicates well with a wide range of clients, venues and colleagues
* Commercial thinker – recognising the need for ROI of all Marketing initiatives/spend
* Computer literate with the ability to learn and assimilate new software
Additional Requirements
* This is a hybrid role where the job holder will be based between our offices in Bracknell, Wimbledon, remote and with travel to on-site venues and events when appropriate.
* Due to the nature of events and promotions to be attended, some evenings and weekend work may be required
