Motor Claims Handler

Progress Vehicle Management is seeking a highly motivated Motor Claims Handler to join our dynamic Claims Team. As a leader in the industry, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service and efficient claims processing. As a Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and processing motor insurance claims from initial contact to settlement.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of motor insurance claims from initial notification to settlement, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
2. Assess claim validity, review policy coverage, and investigate claim details to determine liability and settlement options.
3. Communicate with clients, third-party claimants, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
4. Liaise with insurance brokers, repairers, and other service providers to facilitate vehicle inspections, repairs, and settlements.
5. Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements while handling claims.
6. Maintain accurate claims records, document all activities and correspondence, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
7. Handle complex claims situations with professionalism, tact, and empathy.
8. Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate suspicious claims to the appropriate department.
9. Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriting and legal, to resolve complex claim issues.
10. Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to motor claims.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. No experience required.
2. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
4. Proficient computer skills and experience with claims management software.
5. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
6. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
7. Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour.

Pay: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
