We are currently looking for a Team Manager for our Home Treatment Team within East Cornwall.
You will take lead in the management and ongoing development of urgent Home Treatment Team Mental Health Service, and will be clinically responsible for multi-disciplinary allocated staff teams and the management and provision of quality evidence-based intervention, advice, support, and care for services users with mental health and social care needs and their carers within the clinical area.
This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements.
Main duties of the job
Ensure the process for management of urgent assessments and treatment within Home Treatment Teams is in place in line with all relevant guidance, ensuring that services offer quality assessments of mental health. Ensure that the outcomes are person-centred and all planning is in place for this service user/group. Responsible for the setting of quality standards, including monitoring and reviewing in line with current clinical guidance practice and policy. Responsible for ensuring that team members thoroughly assess and provide appropriate treatment for service users' mental/physical/emotional state and that these are documented and acted on appropriately in line with trust policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983 (and updated 2007) are observed, adhered to, and implemented by all team members.
