Procurement Specialist – Heavy Industry (MEP Systems) Location: Shotton Mill, Deeside, UK Contract Duration: 9 months (until December 2025) Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Sector: MEP Procurement | Heavy Industry | Construction About the Role We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC) for a large-scale industrial project. The role involves supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, compliance management, and inventory control to ensure efficient supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Procure materials, equipment, and services for MEP systems. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with UK procurement regulations and industry standards. Manage procurement schedules, contracts, and purchase orders. Work closely with project teams to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Requirements ✔ Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Administration ✔ 5 years’ experience in procurement within MEP, construction, or heavy industry ✔ Strong knowledge of UK procurement laws, contract negotiation, and cost management ✔ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and supplier relationship skills This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major industrial project with a reputable engineering firm
