Bring us your capability, and we'll help you take it much, much further.What you'll be doing This role is located in the Network Management team who are responsible for coordinating all activities on the public highway and granting or refusing permit and lane rental applications to work on the public highway. The team also measures and monitors all statutory undertakes and utility works, ensuring compliance through inspections of issuing of FPN's and defects for non-compliance.
* Review permit/lane rental applications
* Represent the County Council at meetings to contribute appropriately with research, analysis and reporting of information and briefing senior staff on issues
* Research customer enquiries and provide accurate and timely information, advice and guidance
* Personally liaise with customers, stakeholders and colleagues and recommend courses of action arising within scope and bounds of the role and review the effectiveness of services to improve performance.
Educated to GCSE standard
* NRSWA Accreditation (desirable)
* Excellent IT and writing skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
* Working knowledge and experience of policies and procedures and legislative requirements relevant to permits and lane rentals
* Experience of working in a Network Management environment.
