Permanent – Full Time (37 hours per week)
Freedom's Networks team have a vacancy for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Wakefield. The main purpose of the role will be to work within the Cable Engineering Services Contract to ensure all subcontractors are paid in a timely manner and in adherence to the framework, also making sure all invoices are raised in a timely manner in conjunction with month end.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
1. Working with Freedom’s delivery team managers on the procurement and ongoing management and engagement of Franchisees & Subcontractors.
2. Value completed works in the period and compile monthly reports.
3. Review and process any returned documentation received from clients to ensure accurate job completions on work management system.
4. Support commercial and financial month-end processes.
5. Raise Purchase Orders where applicable.
6. Commercial and administrative involvement with Works Management System and other IT software.
7. Assist with general administrative duties.
8. Effective communication with various levels of personnel on the framework, internal and external.
9. Post-audit of works commercially completed.
10. Raising of client applications.
What we’re looking for:
1. Strong IT Literacy & Numeracy Skills
2. Previous experience in a finance administration (payroll/accounts payable/credit control/finance assistant) role is preferable; however, purchasing and procurement type backgrounds would also transfer well into this role.
3. Experience with dealing with high volumes of invoicing - Desirable
4. Experience of using work management systems - Desirable
5. Experience with Purchase Order processes - Desirable
