The Role As Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth running of the school by supervising classes during teacher absences. You’ll manage classroom behaviour, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and ensure students remain focused on their learning. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience in education, whether you’re considering a teaching career or simply want to contribute to a school’s success. Your responsibilities Provide stability and continuity for students whose lessons are affected through short term teaching staff absence Support the pastoral, administrative and academic systems at the school Implement agreed work programmes to groups within the classroom, enabling children to access learning activities and structured programmes What are we looking for? Experience of working with young people Proven experience of dealing effectively with change Enthusiasm for working with young people and contributing to their academic success.
