Job Overview
This role is key in providing administrative support to our multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Support Workers in Children’s Therapies.
We are looking for somebody who is efficient, able to prioritise workload, and manage varied tasks throughout the day.
You will need to possess accurate audio-typing skills and preferably have knowledge of medical terminology. You should have great IT skills and the ability to learn the different systems used within the team. Good communication skills are essential.
This is a part-time role, working 22.5 hours per week.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Word processing/audio typing qualifications or RSA level II or equivalent
* Good knowledge of the English language to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Knowledge
* Knowledge of good office & administrative practice
* Able to learn medical terminology (following a period of learning on the job if necessary) and use this effectively as part of the role.
Experience
* Previous and recent secretarial experience
* Previous secretarial experience in a healthcare environment
Skills
* Computer literate: able to use Microsoft Word, E-mail, and other Office applications to maximise office efficiency
* Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with staff and patients
* Ability to multi-task while maintaining high levels of accuracy
