Job responsibilities Job Summary The post is responsible for providing professional expertise to the outcome of the business processes for CHC and individualised commissioning of care purchased by the ICB. The post holder will define current processes, facilitate discussions and advise colleagues as to how best practice might be adopted in the definition of future processes around CHC and individual commissioning, document those processes as they are agreed and oversee their delivery. The post holder will ensure the development of strong clinical governance processes including being responsible for ensuring ICB compliance with statutory requirements arising from Safeguarding Adults, Mental Capacity Act MCA and Deprivation of Liberty Standards DOLS for those in receipt of ICB commissioned services. Work in collaboration to ensure positive working relationships with all stakeholders and partners involved in the delivery of CHC and Individual Commissioned care, to include NHS England, Local Authorities and providers of care, for example Acute Trusts, Community Trusts, Mental Health Trusts, Hospices and Care Homes. To work closely with joint commissioners to ensure systems support the identification of providers who need support and/or guidance in implementing responsibilities in the car pathway.
