As a happy, friendly, welcoming and inclusive Primary school, we are looking to recruit a Head of Early Years.

As a Head of Early Years, you will be developing and leading high-quality practice and provision to support all children to reach their full potential, particularly in the prime areas of learning and development.
In your role as Head of Early Years, you will provide a nurturing environment to promote children’s emotional stability, independence, autonomy and creativity.

Head of Early Years
9. Working collaboratively with a range of professionals to improve outcomes for pupils
10. Act as a role model in developing and maintaining appropriate positive behaviour strategies with children and staff
11. Lead in-service training and advise on individual CPD opportunities for staff
12. Develop and maintain a partnership with parents that values their contributions and involves them in their child’s education
13. Support early identification and intervention strategies
14. Lead, develop and evaluate effective systems for planning, observation and assessment
15. Must have UK QTS
16. Substantial successful experience of working within an Early Years Foundation Stage setting
17. Has a sound knowledge of child development and early childhood education
18. Has a sound knowledge of current developments and issues in early education
19. Is passionate about providing high quality and enabling environments for children to learn, develop and thrive
20. Someone who wants the opportunity to grow and develop
21. Full time and Permanent contract – employed by the school
22. Outer London pay scale – MPS / UPS + TLR 2a
23. Good understanding of the Early Years Framework required
24. Passionate, positive & team player required
25. Confident & strong classroom management skills
