About this team
ITS Global (Information Technology Services Global) is one of four pillars within KPMG’s Global Technology & Knowledge group. As such, ITS Global provides innovative components that KPMG’s business functions and member firms use to deliver client-facing solutions. ITS Global also provides the information protection and technology infrastructure that secures KPMG’s technology environment and connects its network of member firms. ITS Global works with the other GT&K pillars to provide KPMG technology solutions that leverage world-leading partnerships, disruptive digital capabilities and access to the firm’s collective intelligence.
Role summary
The Client Information Security Enquiry Coordinator is responsible for managing and facilitating all client inquiries related to the information security posture of our services. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients requesting information on security practices, compliance standards, and data protection measures. The Coordinator will work closely with internal security, compliance, and operational teams to gather, review, and deliver accurate, timely responses that align with company policies and regulatory standards. Key duties include handling client questionnaires, managing security documentation, and ensuring consistent, transparent communication to foster client trust and satisfaction in our security protocols.
1. Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate security and compliance information.
2. Maintain and update security documentation and FAQs.
3. Ensure all responses align with company security policies and industry regulations.
Key Accountabilities
4. Act as the main contact for client information security inquiries.Coordinate responses to client questionnaires and due diligence requests.

7. Work closely with internal security, RISOs, compliance, and operational teams to gather, review, and deliver accurate, timely responses that align with company policies and regulatory standards
Experience /Knowledge / Qualifications
Background working on large-scale international services and the ability to manage multiple processes and service delivery at once while building constructive working relationships across the different teams, functions, cultures, genders and demonstrating KPMG behaviors and values.
Experience in the design, development, implementation, and operational support of critical services in large scale environments.
Understand appropriate enterprise Data handling practices, customer service and overall facilitation capabilities.
8. **Information Security Knowledge**:
Understanding of security principles, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR), and industry best practices to effectively communicate security posture and address client concerns.
9. **Project Coordination**:
Ability to manage multiple client inquiries simultaneously, ensuring timely and organized responses across teams.
10. **Communication Skills**:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey complex security information to clients of varying technical backgrounds.
11. **Attention to Detail**:
Precision in reviewing and presenting accurate security information, ensuring no discrepancies or errors in communication with clients.
12. **Stakeholder Management**:
Skilled at collaborating with internal departments, including security, IT, compliance, and legal, to gather required information and coordinate timely responses.
13. **Problem-Solving**:
Aptitude for analyzing client questions, identifying gaps, and providing insightful, tailored responses.
14. **Customer Service Orientation**:
Commitment to fostering trust and transparency with clients, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any security-related concerns professionally.
15. **Familiarity with Security Tools and Documentation**
Proficiency with tools for managing security documentation, tracking inquiries, and storing security certifications and assessments (e.g., knowledge of security compliance platforms or document management systems).
16. **Time Management**
Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and prioritize effectively, especially under high inquiry volumes.
17. **Adaptability**:
Ability to stay updated on changing security standards, regulations, and client needs to ensure relevant and up-to-date responses.
