About the role
We have a brand-new opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our People and Development team based in our Bristol office on an FTC basis whilst we transition to a new HR and payroll system. This is a varied and fast-paced position providing vital administration support to the firm.
In this key and varied role, you can expect to:
1. Providing day-to-day operational admin support to the People and Development team in an efficient and accurate way.
2. Preparation of confidential documents, letters and reports in an accurate and timely manner, improving on processes where required.
3. Collating payroll data and ensuring paperwork processed to payroll deadlines.
4. Managing benefits administration, including updating the benefits portal and answering employee queries.
5. Maintaining all HR administrative process flows.
6. Providing administrative assistance to internal projects.
7. Family leave administration and advice.
8. Maintaining the integrity of the data used by People and Development.
9. Recruitment administration such as right-to-work checks and processing new starter paperwork.
10. Onboarding and administration of contractors using the firm’s IR35 process.
11. Annual Visa and Immigration checks.
12. Invoice processing.
13. Providing administrative support on employee relations cases and escalating cases as required.
14. Providing administration support for the Hoare Lea apprenticeship programme.
15. Supporting the system transition as needed.
About you
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
1. Excellent administration skills.
2. Previous HR administration experience preferred but not essential.
3. Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualified.
4. CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
5. An interest in HR.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively and competently with people at all levels.
8. Strong team working skills with a can-do approach.
9. Excellent eye for detail and organisational skills.
10. High level of computer literacy – working knowledge of MS Office suite to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook.
11. Strong competency and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
