Technical Sales Professional - Midlands & London
We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Professional for our well-established, reputable client in Nottingham, NG1, offering a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum.
We are looking for an effective, sales-driven person to join a sales team covering the Midlands and South of England. The role involves selling specialist products across a wide variety of market sectors. Some experience of sales within technical and industrial areas is required.
Working closely with the sales managers, you will support an existing client base while growing sales in your region and be part of a successful UK team collectively to grow the UK business. You will be educating key influencers about the functions and benefits of the products and why they are critical to their future design success.
Duties:
1. Selling products to clients within your region and across varying sectors.
2. Maintaining existing relationships and ensuring continued sales and support.
3. Attending meetings face-to-face and through remote applications.
4. Providing education on products and their benefits.
5. Coordinating activities with the UK sales team.
Required Attributes:
1. Sales experience within technical and/or industrial fields.
2. Proven record of success within technical sales and specific driven sales.
3. Able to generate new business and network effectively.
4. Able to consistently achieve agreed sales targets.
5. Educated to degree level or similar.
6. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
7. Effective communication skills at all levels.
8. Able to travel across a territory and stay overnight as required for meetings, exhibitions, networking events & conferences.
9. Excellent organization and time-management skills.
10. Excellent presentation skills.
11. Able to prepare sales reports, forecasting, and budgeting reports.
12. Project management & delivery skills.
