Job summary Newhaven Rehabilitation Unit is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic, Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our friendly integrated team. You will be well supported by our new Clinical Specialist and Team Lead Physiotherapist with excellent opportunities to develop your own clinical and leadership skills, working within a strong peer group of other Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists alongside a strong and supportive multi-disciplinary team. Main duties of the job As an autonomous practitioner, to assess and treat specialist caseload of patients, who may have complex and/or chronic presentation, and to determine a diagnosis and develop treatment programmes without direct supervision from Senior Staff. To be responsible for teaching, supervision and appraisal of recently qualified physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and undergraduate students, and be involved in the teaching of MDT staff.
