Job Description Children, Education and Justice Services Early Years Practitioner Fox Covert Early Years Centre Salary: £28,046 - £32,010 Hours: 36 per week (52 weeks) Fox Covert Early Years is registered for children aged between 2-5 years, with a maximum of up to 85 learners attending our provision at any one time. Our provision offers various patterns of attendance for learners, between 8am and 6pm, 52 weeks per year. Our staff team is friendly, supportive, energetic and passionate about our Froebelian approaches. The play environments are natural, warm and welcoming, with nurturing and richly resourced spaces, indoors and out. We recognise all children as curious, capable learners, valuing collaboration, participation and engagement with all stakeholders. Through time, our setting has embedded a positive Growth Mindset ethos, committed to continuous professional learning that in turn supports our learners to be the best they can. As a standalone setting, our establishment is situated within a campus alongside two Primary Schools, where two Nursery Early Years Practitioners support both Primary One classes. We are dedicated and active participants within our Learning Community and beyond. An exciting recruitment opportunity has arisen, for an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated Early Years Practitioner. We are searching for someone who can demonstrate passion, inquiry and energy, available to participate within shift patterns which fall between the hours of 07.45hrs and 18.15hrs, Monday-Friday, with a balance of start and finish times, across a 36-hour working week. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
