Location: Flexible (Hybrid: 2-3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum + £4,500 car allowance

Your Role as Electrical Estimator:
As a key member of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects through accurate and competitive estimations. Your responsibilities will include:
* Cost Estimation: Preparing detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, plant, and overheads.
* Tendering & Bidding: Leading the preparation of tender submissions and pricing schedules in collaboration with the bid team.
* Value Engineering: Suggesting cost-effective alternatives while maintaining design integrity and quality.
* Supplier & Subcontractor Liaison: Procuring and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best value.
* Risk Assessment: Identifying and mitigating potential cost risks.
* Cost Control: Monitoring project budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
* Client Relations: Building strong relationships to align cost estimates and changes with client expectations.
* Reporting: Preparing accurate reports on estimates, tenders, and budgets.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, ideally on key projects.
* Software Proficiency: Experience with estimating tools such as Causeway, CostX, or similar.
* Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to address cost-related challenges.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
* Certifications: Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is a plus.
