Job Summary
As a Mechanical Technician at our client's Wrexham factory, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of production lines, working closely with the multi-disciplined Engineering team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the achievement of asset reliability and departmental efficiency through effective maintenance and repair of equipment
* Develop and implement CI/SMED initiatives, collaborating with colleagues to reduce downtime and increase productivity
* Utilize problem-solving techniques, including root cause analysis, to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards, communicating effectively with stakeholders as needed
What You'll Need:
* Apprentice-trained to ONC/HNC/C&G Level 3 or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering/technician roles
* Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics circuits, with ability to read and produce mechanical drawings
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
