Brushwood House is a vibrant 60 bed Nursing home providing accommodation, care and support for residents with general Nursing and EMI Nursing assessed needs. To meet those assessed needs we require a qualified Chef to join our team.
We are seeking a professional and dedicated individual to join an established team at Liverpool City Council. If you are passionate about making a difference and thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment we want to hear from you.
The Role:
* As a chef you will be responsible for providing high quality nutritious food and meals for the residents of Brushwood House.
* In the role of Chef you will plan, prepare & cook a variety of meals to meet the dietary needs of adults living with dementia, taking into account any allergies and how food is specifically prepared i.e., liquid/ blended diet.
* You will be required to maintain a minimum standard of food presentation using appropriate equipment in keeping with the Environmental Health requirements.
* As the Chef you will be required to follow a cleaning schedule ensuring a high standard of cleanliness complying with Health & Safety Procedures, Food Safety Act (1990) & Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995.
