Hours: 2 PAs required Term Time 2 x 3 hours per week and 2 x 5 hours Holiday Time per week.
Location: Great Park, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne
Rates of pay: £14.00 per hour.
Purpose of Job: My son is a loving and creative 12-year-old boy who loves the beach and woodland walks. He is very creative and likes to take pictures and videos on his phone of his adventures, whether that be at the beach, walks or general activities. Along with the beach and woodland walks, he also loves swimming, trampolining, and soft play activities. He does have his little quirks and challenges and is very much routine driven; therefore, activities and routes need to be planned for any activity. He is currently waiting to go through CYPS regarding his OCD behaviours; he likes his routine and must do his little ticks, i.e., before going on the school bus in the mornings, before going to bed, etc. He doesn’t like to be rushed but once he has done his little routine, he is fine to transition.
He can be vocal, especially when requesting help but isn’t able to have a meaningful conversation, so needs help with his choice book. He doesn’t have much sense of danger, so needs the extra support when transitioning from one place to another, near roads, etc. Initially, you will be working in tandem with one of Jaxon’s parents.
Ideally, he would like his PAs to have similar interests who are enthusiastic with a genuine interest and enjoyment in working with children.
For this role, a car driver is essential, and mileage will be reimbursed.
This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references which will be taken up if you are offered the post.
