Business Administrator | Bank | Spire Healthcare Cardiff | Private Hospital | Free Parking Spire Cardiff Hospital are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to work in the Business office on a bank basis. As a Business Administrator you will ensure the provision and maintenance of an efficient hospital charging service within the hospital and undertake basic financial processes in accordance with procedures as required. Duties & Responsibilities To ensure all billing is actioned promptly and accurately in line with Spire procedure identifying billing problems, placing billing alerts, suspending and clearing as required To co-ordinate the request of payment for standard invoices (through SAP), consultant fees (through CPS) and patient refunds To accurately input expenses, resolve staff queries and liaise with the payroll department To call off daily and monthly reports and action them accordingly to specified work instructions To follow up on billing queries liaising with Central Finance To establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Always practice and maintain a high standard of confidentiality and exercise absolute discretion in the use of all patient/consultant/staff information Provide and receive patient information, ensuring that all patient information is provided, received and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Spire policiesWho we are looking for: Excellent standard of education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills Someone who is highly organised and able to manage workload Experience of working in a similar in a position An excellent communicator and capable of delivering excellent customer service Excellent computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel packages Efficiently and accurately process financial and administrative transactions Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally Confident telephone manner with the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers at all levelsContract type: Bank - Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00, mainly Wednesday & Fridays Benefits We offer competitive rates to our bank colleagues who work on a flexible basis, often to cover busy periods, sickness or annual leave.
